Saya Tengok Wayang -"The Proposal"

Lama tak tengok wayang, selalu nyer tengok wayang yang biler ader action movies..tapi kebelakangan nih timing selalu lari..bila nak pergi tengok jer dah habis atau masa tak sesuai..sampai kan TRANSFORMER pun tak kesampaian nak tengok.

Masa aku bercuti Jumaat lalu, make it a point nak pergi layan wayang jugak kat Alamanada, tengok show tengahari tak ramai orang pun. Its a toss between G.I JOE dan The Proposal.. orang kata tengok citer romantik nak ader bawak teman/ partner..aku cakap as long as I enjoy the movie ..tak kira lah sorang pun jadik ( well, most of the time I do watch alone pun).

I pick..The Proposal.. a romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds.. You can always bet on Sandra when it comes to romantic comedy, she's a a believable and funny.... I still remember her as the girl in Speed with Keenu Reeve (so..cute..masa itu).

Anyway, back to the movie, it has been eons since I last watched a romantic movie and thank god , I made the right choice. This movie is no rocket since, no complicated plot..some might says using some cliches scene, but nevertheless is entertaining, there are scene where you can help but to laugh out loud. The scene where Sandra's character entered the office and the staff announce her arrival via IM " It is here".It started out as the evil boss and her really cute suffering executive assistant. Due to unforseen circumstances ( i.e the boss is a canadian which her visa is about to expiry and to be deported back), they sort of agreed to a make believe engagement /wedding for her to extend her stay and get a Green card.

I love the scenes where they supposedly flew to Sitska,Alaska ( in really it was shot in Massachusset, US). The scenery were really great inspiration to fall in love..( ahha .aww i am a romantic person ok )... the grammy was hillarious,,sort of cuddly, michevious and scheming all thrown into one white haired old lady. Though the ending did not end at the altar, but the end credit where they shown the green card interview was really great..so if you are thinking of watching..please dont miss the scenes during the ending credits!
